I got to see! Photos do not do it justice. It was incredible with the clouds. The black disc with the rim of fire and big flare on one side all framed by clouds.
I could hear all the kids cheering too
If you saw it, imagine the totality framed by the clouds in the last picture

Ten minutes out from the total eclipse. We got a nice halo effect going on.
ETA: Totality was gorgeous. Wish I could pocket it to re-experience it on a rainy day.

That was amazing, the clouds got so dark! 
There was a brief glimpse of the not quite total sun-sliver through the cloud layers. The birds are doing their dusk calls.

Wow. Cold, dark, and awesome. I went the “furtive peeks” method because I wanted to see it naturally. Totality was very, very cool.
