If you think about most mammals, and actually most vertebrates, it’s easy to imagine their anatomy in human terms (though tails are tricky if you’re not a yogi). But elephant trunks are just alien. I can’t imagine peeling a banana using facial expressions.

I was trying to imagine combining your senses of touch and smell; dexterously using your nosefingers to separate the leathery, non-delicious peel from the fragrantsoft pulp.
