Given that Tesla has a huge amount of competition in the electric car market in China, and they’re very much selling their cars at a premium price (with the expectations of service that come with that), it’s not surprising they’d have more responsive warranty support.

Yeah, it very well may be a point of difference they are offering over their rivals in china. But it’s also hilariously at variance with how they treat customers elsewhere.

I suspect they could really get into a lot of bad habits in places like the US where they created their market and were pretty much the only ones operating in it. It’s not like the customers were going to buy someone else’s car, after all…
