Being an asshole pollutes your market and customer base.
You’ve made yourself the ‘face’ of the company. And now it’s a ugly one.
And by extension it reflects on the customers owning your product.

I respected him when all I new about him was that his name was associated with some cool, high-tech stuff that was made in the spirit of “we’ll never know we can’t do it until we actually, you know, try.”
But literally every further piece of information I’ve gained about him has degraded my opinion of him until, at this point, I wish he’d just shut up and go away.
