Is violence suddenly cool when you call it “ultraviolence”?
At a distance the cop badge looks like a fat middle finger.
You need to seriously rethink this headline.
Wow.
No more violent than any other R rated movie.
If you haven’t seen Mr White in person get the F out and go see him.
HE ROCKS!
“Ultraviolence” you say? I ran across this last night while hopping from music video to music video:
Nope.
I’m not even going to pretend to understand.
99 million views . . . Jesus Christ.
"Let us pray"
No thanks…
Anyone know where it was filmed?
Also, I really enjoyed the way the light shone through the bullet holes in the second one. That was a “nice” and unexpected touch.
A lot of the mountains are composited in. The locations are in the Nashville area.
If that’s classed as ultra-violence, what do you class as normal violence? A mild poking?
Apart from one half second clip i guess, that was fairly mild by TV standards IMHO.
It’s a Clockwork Orange reference more than a classification. Anything on regular YouTube is fairly tame violence-wise.
Ah , fair enough, i haven’t watched that
Jack White rocks and puts on a completely terrific live show.
I wish his most recent album was worth listening to as more than just a strange curiosity piece.
In a word, “Yes.”
Huh… so was that Hardcore Henry II?
If it means anything beyond just “violence” I’d guess it would be “random, for entertainment”, as in A Clockwork Orange. Which would seem to describe the violence in this video pretty well.
