Well… to be fair, whoever actually wrote the lyrics predicted it, and SHG just got all the credit.
They were a manufactured, cookie-cutter group put together by Sylvia Robinson; and they used other rappers’ verses… most famously, Grandmaster Caz, aka ‘Casanova.’
