I kinda think you may have just contradicted yourself. A reason little Eric may have meant to say “we’re white” is to signal a reminder that “We would never pick a black VP like Kamala Harris,” no?
Indeed, they are contradictory, which is why I put “But” between the two. While that may have been the reason Eric said “we’re white”, I don’t put it as especially likely.
In particular, if Eric were thinking that attacking KH was a good idea, I figure he’d’ve just said something direct like “don’t you realize that voting for Biden is practically voting for Harris??” and left it at that, the very idea being so absurd as to need no further discussion. [Not my view – one I’m imputing to Eric.]
That is evident.
Or just what’s on his mind like some kind of tangential intrusive thought while delivering a terrible speech to people who seem to be hating it. Honestly I loathe this guy, but I have said not just the wrong word but the “is this aphasia?” wrong word before and died inside because of it. There are people out there who probably tell stories about this one stupid dumbass who said this one thing sometime but I hope maybe they’ve lost significant amounts of memory at some point instead or get me confused with some one else.

And the style/branding of the new racists is to throw in plausibly deniable dog whistles everywhere to keep themselves in the news as avowed racists since apparently a good quarter of this country is like foaming-at-the-mouth racist.
When nobody means anything and everything everywhere is just hurling more bombastic bullshit into the abyss it’s easy to get away with saying or doing anything with the most pathetic of excuses. I should know, I’m white! 
Yeah, someone like you, I will give the benefit of the doubt to if and when you use the wrong word. Eric Trump doesn’t get that courtesy.
Accidentally saying “white” instead of “right” is a totally understandable mistake at the end of a series of other “w” words. But I think most people would realize the mistake and immediately correct themselves.

If you look at photos of TFG when he was in his thirties, he’s the spitting image of Eric nowadays; and Barron looks like Eric when he was in his teens. Those Trump genes sure find a way…
