🍊🍊🍊🤡🤡 Even More Trumpian Events 🤡🤡🍊🍊🍊 (Part 1)

It’s hard to find a non-wingnut source for this. Quoting Fox:

President Trump said Monday that he will soon issue an executive order meant to protect public statues and monuments from being damaged or destroyed by far-left and anarchist protesters.

“We are going to do an executive order and make the cities guard their monuments,” Trump told Eternal Word Television Network’s Raymond Arroyo. “This is a disgrace.”

I doubt that EO would actually be enforceable, and would fail if challenged in the courts… So, more accordion hand-waving by Trump. (“Eternal Word Television Network”, Oy!)

Donnie was rampaging half naked around the White House China Room and smashing pieces of George Washington’s china against the teevee screens again?

I’ve heard that on nights with no moon, Donald and Melania like to go out to the Rose Garden and act out the Kaiju battle scenes from Pacific Rim. Can’t vouch for it, but many people are saying it’s true.

There has never been a figure in political history who was so passionately dedicated to destroying the projects for organized human life on earth in the near future. That is not an exaggeration. People are focused now on the protests; the pandemic is serious enough that we will emerge from it at terrible cost[, but] we’re not going to emerge from another crime that Trump has committed, the heating of the globe. The worst of it is coming — we’re not going to emerge from that.

I’m only about 10 minutes in, and Colbert just compared Bolton to Littlefinger from Game of Thrones asking him if he thought “chaos is a ladder”

"Griffin and Porter are part of a larger exodus of DoD officials from the Pentagon.

Last week, Elaine McCusker, who was the acting DoD comptroller, announced she will step down on June 26.

President Trump nominated McCusker for the permanent comptroller position last year, but revoked that nomination in March.

The nomination pull came after public reporting indicated she had pushed back against the White House’s attempt to withhold defense aid from Ukraine, a central issue in the president’s impeachment trial.

Two days after McCusker’s resignation, Kathryn Wheelbarger the acting assistant secretary for international security affairs announced she’d be leaving DoD as well."
