This. This is just so, so good. For a short moment I actually felt the pit in my stomach that Trump’s data analysts will be feeling.

Yeah, I would also trust your own numbers. Sure. “We got 1,000,000 ticket requests”, “we got 12,000 people going through metal detectors”…
So, let’s count together, shall we?
Even if the number for the detectors the Stupid Campain gives would be correct, I would have a look if people would have to walk though on their way out again.
That said, if that would be the cause of the different number, this would effectively mean that less than 12k people attended, because a) they would surely round up their metal detector numbers, b) they would surely have several people who went through more than once.
