Lindsey Graham has Covid- and he doesn’t want another atomic ass whooping like he got in the first debate.

Forks is also notable as being the town where the Twilight series takes place. Most of their economy comes from tourism as a result. (Not much else to do in that area of Washington unless you’re an avid outdoors enthusiast.)

Well said. I had almost the same conversation with a friend last night (minus any screaming or fast food restaurants). He said he was thinking of taking a more “Buddhist” approach and watching the whole thing happen and just standing back, because humanity is what it is. (I’m paraphrasing.)
I tried my best to help him see that saying that from his relative perch of privilege comes off as, “I don’t give a fuck what happens to all you women and POC and others.”
I think he heard me, he’s a pretty decent guy. But it’s truly shocking how the whole, “why should I bother, it won’t effect my life,” infiltrates normally empathetic minds…

That’s easily criminal. We are responsible as homeowners to make sure our yards are safe. This is an intent to do harm. Could have been children, someone’s pet, whatever. Besides the sizable settlement that their homeowner’s insurance undoubtedly will NOT pay, they also need to be facing jail time.
