He can fuck right off.
I’d like to know if he’s still on that steroid, because (a) diminishing returns and other side-effects, (b) the worse the drop-kick when he quits.
Although, there is the legit question, could you tell?
It’s likely that he is off the Dexamethasone now. It’s indicated for severe COVID, and typical oral prescriptions are 7 to 10 days. Probably he was going off it during that time after he came back from the hospital and was rage tweeting in all-caps for a week. It’s pretty unlikely he is on that drug, although long term steroid use… I have no idea.
The reason I think he was still on it until Election Day or the day before is that he never had down time from when he was discharged from Walter Reed until then. He went on a flurry of campaign rallies in the last few days before the election. That’s highly unlikely unless he never came off it. Since then, he’s hardly been seen. Just the trip to his golf course. For all we know, he only played one or two holes before getting carted back on oxygen.
The other factor is, if he’s been on Dex the whole time, he’s still contagious, at least according to contact tracing protocol. Everyone in his circle who’s tested positive recently, like Meadows and Carson, could have been infected by him.
A self-basting turkey has arrived in time for Thanksgiving. Let’s see that he gets roasted real good.
Buh Bye
That’s an interesting theory. It’s plausible.
I was thinking that his sudden energy burst wasn’t due to the dex, but he just increased his Adderall intake, as in, he used a tried-and-true method for an addict.
In addition to the mood swings, corticosteroids also have many non-psychological side-effects that would be very noticeable. If he is already an Adderall addict, and then was also on the dex, he would be doubling his high blood pressure response and would very much notice his heart racing and would complain. My bet is that he backed off the dex and went back to known territory.
The bright side is that if he’s self-medicating and also being medicated, the chances for a catastrophic mistake increase substantially…
Same here. There’s no fucking way they gave that POS something that made him feel better physically and then he stopped using it exactly when he was supposed to… not with that orange asshole’s track record of listening to other people who actually know what they are talking about.
I’m following you, but might disagree on one point: Adderall won’t overcome a low O2 Sat. Coming off of the Dex, he would have to be on oxygen pretty much 24/7 for a couple of days, or have his blood oxygen levels drop dangerously. Adderall might make him think he’s invincible, but an 80-something% O2 Sat would disabuse him of that notion immediately.
And Pence backing him up: “He only needs to live - I mean, be functional - through Tuesday…”
granted herd immunity by him /s
eta: Major legal battles? It’s been kooksoots so far.
Ugh. This was on our front page this morning:
Yeah, he didn’t cancel his Fla. “vacation” because of a hurricane or anything.
From the “fuck your feelings” party that singlehandedly turned the idea of a “crying liberal snowflake” into a meme?
Yeah, un-fuck all these motherfuckers.
Don’t start impeached lame soon-to-be-ex President, or we’ll drop the gloves and have your sweater off in no time. (I’m kidding. We won’t drop the gloves.)
And that being said by a random celebrity, not a member of the DNC or current sitting politician. To equate that at all with a governmental department withholding funds and other resources to political opponents is totally ridiculous.
It’s always so telling that these are the WORST things they can come up with for matters of comparison.
I wish I could take a nap until Jan. 20.
“succeed?” Does he even know what means to “succeed?” I suspect not.
I don’t know- he’s successfully communicated a lot about who he is with admirable brevity.
Sometimes it isn’t what you say as much as it is the words you use to say it.
No. We shouldn’t abandon the good people of MS to these assholes.
