if masks only protected the wearer, than fine. let them make up their own minds. but masks protect other people, so if they don’t wear one, they’re trampling on my rights. ( specifically my right to keep living. )

I laid it out in detail two replies up. You’re stuck in literal interpretation of the law, without considering the history of discrimination in the US. If the Georgia GOP had come out with a proposal that blatantly violated the 14th Amendment, it would just get shot down. With this, it was vague enough to allow discrimination in local interpretation, with exactly the deniability you laid out in the law.
It’s voter suppression. It seems like you alternate between recognizing it and denying it.
