I think it is just a nod to the idea that people of color aren’t really Americans. He knows nothing will come of it, but it does “other” the target in the eyes of his bigoted grass roots.

Trump’s source seems to be a Newsweek opinion piece by John Eastman, and he should certainly know.
Eastman, the former dean of Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law, where he is a professor, is also a senior fellow at the conservative Claremont Institute. According to his bio on the institute’s website, he also served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
I dunno, Laura Ingraham and now this guy. Does Thomas have a quota for White Nationalist interns?

It just confuses me to the point of paralysis. I have no idea how anyone can watch that and shrug it off. The people I know, I can’t even get them to reply about his lies. They shake their heads and divert and say not “as many” are dying as we think. “As many” isn’t zero.
I hope there are psychologists, psychiatrists, sociologists, whatever studying this right now, because this is THE question regarding humanity, I think. We really need to understand this ability to be purposely oblivious to one’s active support of horror, even at the expense of their families, or themselves. Every horrific moment in human history shares whatever the f- is wrong with America right now.

Robert Trump, the younger brother of President Donald Trump, has been hospitalized in New York, sources told ABC News, a development confirmed by the White House.
The details of his condition remain unknown though he is described by several sources as “very ill.”
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed the hospitalization to ABC News, adding that the president and his brother “have a very good relationship” and that the president would be providing more details later.
Sources told ABC News the president is expected to visit his brother today, though final details were still being worked out.
In June, Robert Trump was hospitalized in the intensive care unit at Mount Sinai hospital in New York for more than a week.
“Have a very good relationship”? Oh please, Donnie threw his brother under the bus to keep the NRA happy right after the Parkland shooting.

"The first FISA application targeting Page was first approved in October of 2016 and signed by then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. The first renewal came in January of 2017 under Yates’ signature, the second came in April of 2017 signed by Acting Attorney General Dan Boente and third and final renewal application was filed under the signature of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in June of 2017.
Clinesmith’s alteration only impacted that final renewal application in June of 2017 and was not relevant to the earlier FISA warrants. Horowitz’s report last December outlined numerous errors and omissions by the FBI agents who handled the applications for Page, and the DOJ subsequently declared the final two applications were, including the one implicating Clinesmith, while declining to take a position on the first two applications."
Seems like this is a big fat nothing, but will be spun to implicate the whole investigation.
