I tried to at least have the first night on in the background, since I half-watched the DNC. I couldn’t stomach it and have since retreated into binge watching 30 rock and eating ice cream.
For real. I even changed our radio from its standard NPR set channel to the local indie station full of blues and reggae just to avoid the horrible reruns. But it’s unavoidable if you are at all online. 
I’ve been filtering it through Colbert and Trevor Noah.
