Events I'd time travel to see

Assuming the holo-travel, I’d like to ride along with Amelia Earhart on that final voyage to see what actually happened.
And, not really “events” technically, but I’d love to pop in on some scientists in their labs, like Marie Curie on a regular day, or Louis Pasteur when he was developing the rabies vaccine - that stuff sounds epic. He was leaning over rabid dogs with a Pipette in his mouth to extract the rabid spittle.
In terms of concerts, Woodstock. Joplin and Hendrix.

I more meant there are some things I’d really rather not see for myself, safe or not.

Look how much blood

I wouldn’t mind reliving my first ever concert at Cobo Arena in 1977, or '78, ‘80, and’ 82. Reliving any one of those Queen concerts would be awesome.

Shows I wasn’t at but would love to have been at, Queen live at Wembley, Rio, or Knebworth(Freddie’s final show).

But I would most like to be at the Diana Ross concert in Central Park in 1983, both days. The first day is amazing to watch her stay on the stage during a torrential storm at great risk to herself in an attempt to calmly empty the park.

And the second day when she took the stage for I’m Coming Out. She starts singing as she leaves her trailer falls up the stairs and just keeps going.

What a performer.

Best show opener ever.

What if your hologram scared away a butterfly, depriving a primitive mammal of its prey, causing the mammal to go farther in its search for food and get eaten by a dinosaur?

Sure I’d love to see Joy Division or whatever, but honestly if I could time travel I’d be good with just a few minutes. Long enough to rewind and not say the pointless, hurtful, row-starting dumbass thing I’d just said. :grimacing:

I love you, Pussycat!

Note that I never said the holograms would be visible to anyone or anything in the past.

(I watched Back to the Future way too many times as a kid…)

Stretches event, and possibly into the changing history because interaction required, but I’d love to do a food tour. Famous chefs, long vanished cuisines

I’d go back to the moment when the first time machine was invented and prevent it.
Because time travel is no good.

Lincoln when he delivered his Gettysburg Address.

Gentle Giant concerts.

All Lucerne Festival concerts conducted by Claudio Abbado.

(Front and center for all of the above.)

In Aryton Senna’s and Gilles Villeneuve’s pits during their races.

One month before 9/11 with all now known information about the attacks as planned and sending out info to all necessary city, state, and federal agencies and airlines.

At the cape for Apollo and Shuttle launches (except for STS-51L).

At Debussy’s, Stravinsky’s, and Satie’s get together at Debussy’s home in 1910.

At Times Square for the celebration when Japan’s surrender was announced.

So many! Always via hologram (thanks @Melizmatic).

Everyday events at times far in the past where objects, who used them (specifically women and/or men), and what they were used for, are yet to be fully understood by archaeologists.

Past events described as mystical, mysterious or ‘deity-given’ but with current knowledge so they’re able to be explained and/or understood.

Sorry, but I’d do whatever it takes to prevent Elno and the demented orange fuckwit from being part of this and any other timeline. Including taking out any ancestors necessary to stop those two from existing. I’m that fucking sick of hearing and seeing them and the discord and chaos they create, cause and foment.

Hmmm. What about the Big Bang and evolution? All that I’d love to witness although probably in fast forward. I reckon even holograms haven’t got that much time and patience.

On a smaller and much more personal scale, I’d go see big gigs and concerts such as Janis Joplin, the Stones, Doors, Elvis, so many others, with my friend Andy who died from a brain tumour about 17 years ago. And lots of smaller gigs by emerging and independent artists too, also with him and his wife, my friend Jodie.

I want to see Trump dragged through the mud, and dropped in the grave.

But it’s okay, I’ll walk.

I want to go back and find out who the still unidentified criminals really were – D.B. Cooper, Jack the Ripper, etc.

i gave this some thought and i think that i would stay local.
i would love to ride the Flagler train down to Key West (circa 1930) and drink mojitos with Hemingway. go out fishing on the Pilar with him, then across the strait to Havana to gamble the night away at the Tropicana.
