Honestly, I don’t have a problem with people alerting the authors or @orenwolf about corrections. That’s helpful. I just take issue with people acting all offended by a grammar mistake… I mean, there are actual problems in the world ya know!

A friend pointed out to me at one point in time ages ago that if someone is being pedantic about grammar, and yet they still know what is being communicated and how, that they’re basically just trying to remind everyone that they are very smart and it says more about them than the grammar mistake. That stuck with me and probably applies to more pedantry than just grammar.
Agreed. As someone who writes and publishes, I know that you often need to not only edit your own work, but it’s helpful to get more eyes on it, too. Even the best writer is going to make grammar mistakes… That’s why god made editors!
