Cute gator, for now… But maaaan, the people in that video need to dial down the presentation a couple of notches. I couldn’t finish the video because they were so annoying.

i have been searching for a way to comment on this phenomenon that would be within community guidelines,
“white” gator just begs for some “florida cracker” jab, but i got nothin’.
it just seems symbolic of the ugly reality here.
as you say, he is rather cute. not sure i’d buy insurance from him, tho.

If it was just hatched, there’s no way it is 49 cm (~19") long. Alligators hatch at maybe half that size, 8-9". I’d believe 19" if it were a year old and eating well.
Still cute AF, of course.

If you want to see a big one, there’s been an adult albino alligator (non-leucistic, and prettier I think) in San Francisco’s California Academy of Sciences for rather a long time now. His name is Claude.
