This was perfect timing! I don’t read much sci-fi or fantasy, so most of the book recommendations here don’t appeal to me. I read the author’s debut novel on the advice of BB and loved it, and literally yesterday I was asking myself, “huh, I wonder if she ever wrote a followup?” Serendipity!

I finished this yesterday, and it was a real page-turner. Loved it from beginning to end and can’t wait for more tales of Zoë and her associated coterie.
Hints of further stories happening where I live have me excited too!
