I tend to think that the Q informant would be one of those loser type frauds that the x-files sometimes had, spouting the kind of nonsense that not even the lone gunmen could take seriously. And of course being all creepy around Scully…

Yeah - back in pre-internet times I used to love collecting odd little conspiracy theory pamphlets with titles like “Mystery 666”, but that novelty has been devalued, and what used to seem rare and harmless now seems common and dangerous.

I just wish media organizations would stop referring to QAnon as a “conspiracy theory” and start referring to it as a “cult,” which is really the only proper framework to understand it.
