Also the stretching towards the end, just as a police car drives by. Clearly designed to put them at ease and not look like a guy in a hoodie suspiciously slinking about.
That said, I don’t want to overstress that person’s capabilities. All of these are pretty common sense things to do. It’s just that luckily most criminals are dumb enough to not even follow common sense precautions.
