Ah, “True Crime”. It’s mostly the kind of fiction that comes with bad research and a vivid imagination, and an unhealthy obsession with cruelty. It cares little for the victims, and does not elaborate on how we might create a better society that provides better care for people so that these things might be avoided. It also makes violent crime look much more prevalent than it actually is. What’s not to love?

I think a more fitting name is “Crime Porn”
