I wonder if the Aviators are leaving Las Vegas when the A’s move in?
For his last game, they should let him run the bases (if he has shown he has any favorite players, let them call him from each base) so when he retires he goes “home”. Normally I think it’s a violation of the rules for players in the field to touch a runner unless they’re trying to tag them out, but I’d make an exception for them to give him some pets.
