I heard “Shake Shake Shake (Your Booty)” this morning at the gym. I thought KC was kind of corny when I was a kid but they’ve held up over time. (I can’t say the same for a lot of 80’s new wave hits – they also played an old Culture Club hit shortly after KC, and it paled in comparison.)
It’s been more than 30 years since I’ve heard that song and I still knew every word. I never liked it, but you couldn’t go out dancing without hearing it played at least once. Gods I hated disco…
