Florida Man really outdid himself this time, even making a solid effort to incorporate a fruit stand.

Once more, I wonder, if the prevalence of “Florida Man” stories is a result of the Sunshine State actually having a higher percentage of citizens with poor impulse control than the other states of the Union; or is it the result of over reporting buy outsiders?

They really have poor impulse control.

I can also attest that Florida is filled with young goofballs that leave the north for spring break and find their mecca in FL, never to return. So it has a magnetic pull for the ‘gifted’.

Is there a Top 100 Florida Man show on around December time? Would be handy to catchup on the crazy antics in one hit.

The climate could also contribute. It’s harder to get up to this kind of stuff in the dead of winter up north.

Clearly if he’d thought to flag down a cop first, then try to steal that vehicle to find his car, things would’ve ended much better.

Right! That’s the punch line I was looking for at the end of the debacle:
“Oh. Right. I parked next to the other door.”

Funny story, he had actually been driven by friends.

I don’t know this to be true but it’s how I want things to end.
