Someone I know was placed at the scene of the crime because they left their phones on. Police used the triangulations of the nearest phone masts to identify their position. They narrowly escaped an attempted murder charge. TBH, I would have been happier if they had been charged with that. So ne’er-do-wells, leave that phone at home, or switch the damn thing off. Actually, I’m not even sure if switching it off is enough. I’m sure someone will tell me.
