The price fluctuations you guys are seeing are probably a result of sellers (and Amazon) using algorithmic repricing tools. Those tools are running continuously in the background, trying to guess what price will get the seller’s offer into the Buy Box. If one seller’s price adjusts, the other sellers running repricers will also automatically adjust. Typically if there are only one or two sellers left for an item, the price will shoot WAY up.
