These stories always end the same way for the purchaser.

I’m only interested if there’s a nuclear missile included.

So when the Government owned and ran it, did they have power and water? I mean, presumably they cogenerated electricity onsite somehow but I don’t imagine it was using an off-the-shelf Generac.

We don’t even have to pay $400 to find out that that bunker is full of dank carpet samples.

A missile silo in the middle of nowhere is sounding better and better.

NB the Sprint missile was the last ditch part of the very short lived anti-ballistic missile system. Sprint accelerated at 100 Gs reaching a speed of Mach 10 in 5 seconds.

Just looking at all those pictures probably poses a risk of cancer and Aspergillosis. That said, the amount of engineering involved in building that place and outfitting all of the systems is pretty impressive. I can’t imagine what it would have been like working on a site like that during construction as a pipe fitter or electrician.

I’m not sure if this is the same base, but it does have some pictures of the inside of the launch building:

Property taxes of under $400 for almost 50 acres? If the land isn’t toxic that’s not bad. Who says you have to do anything with the missile complex?
