Formula 1 car hits 88 mph with ease

In fact, Germany’s racing colour was traditionally white (still used by BMW). There is a legend that the tradition of unpainted or silver cars started with Mercedes removing the white paint from a car in the 1930s to save weight.

Isn’t 88 mph within the speeds any car on the market can reach? In metric units it is 141 km/h and my small, underpowered but very fuel efficient 1.2l engine car can certainly reach that speed. And I am pretty sure it cannot compete with a F1 racing car.
