I guess someone had to keep raising all that cotton. And get someone else to keep picking it.
Timothy McVeigh? Charles Manson? HItler?
Itâs sad that people around here go quiet when you say things like that.
Thatâs not as huge of an assumption as youâre suggesting via gif
Except that Fox News has a long history of this sort of thing. They almost always deny that race can ever be a factor. Sorry if weâre just a little dubious of their motives⌠because FOX NEWS.
Except we didnât. He got an answer, from at least 2 people now.
[ETA] Also, Fox news:
So⌠yeah. Fox News.
And the response was more a petty dismissal than anything
Could be worse.
I can see the ring on his finger so heâs obviously marriedâŚI wonder if he likes yogurt?
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck âŚ

Did anyone else stop to ask when this video was recorded? Anyone?
I donât see a time/date stamp, but the first thing said to the preacher is âWhat are your thoughts this morning?â I take that to mean that this was recorded on Thursday morning, well before the details of the shooting were known. Iâm not a Fox News defender, but I think that the network assumed that the shooting was religion-based because it occurred in a church.[/quote]
I donât think itâs plausible. This interview from the night of the attack had a witness recounting the killerâs quote:
âI have to do it. You rape our women and youâre taking over our country. And you have to go.â
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IiVdPlhuRc#t=21.
Coupled with the civil rights significance of the church and I canât imagine how the Fox News folks could have missed it or been that oblivious.
Why respond? It was a dumb query that @dustindopps couldâve made to google instead of trying to be all snarky. The first reports from Charleston included witness accounts that said the terrorist rose and made explicitly racial comments before opening fire. Those were out not long after midnight and well before 6AM, which is when the shootenest-tootenest Pastor that Fox wrangled up had his prayer meeting, before rushing on-air with Fox.
Sure, those reports were only out 6-8 hours before the dipshits at Fox produced this trash, but being in the media, of a sort, they had access to it, since the internet wasnât closed. It wasnât closed where I am anyway. Say, maybe Fox deliberately keeps those people in a darkened, sound proofed faraday cage at night to ensure maximum stupidity on live television. Thatâd be one explanation.
But @dustindopps weird supposition that they just couldnât have known so weâre the ones that are wrong to criticize them? Not a chance.
FOX News would appear to be out of step with US Dept. Justice if AAP reports are accurate. (AAP story in NZ Herald).
As an aside, the statements by the relatives of the victims are remarkably magnanimous. I can identify more with the guy at the rear left of the picture who is obviously being very restrained âŚ
Itâs true that these persons are, to paraphrase Gandhi, are being very much like their Christ. Itâs admirable & heart-warming & restorative. Only days later, I canât say I could do that if I were in their sorrowful shoes.
You have made my evening, thank you!
Holy shit, we are so past the FOxNEWZBaD part of this shit by now. Yeah, theyâre a fucking embodiment of white supremacy manifested in a TV channel.
Moving on from that point (which any reasonable and well-informed person would agree upon, based on years of evidence & not just todayâŚ)
What are we doing next to end white supremacy, to end hatred, and to end the mindset that sends ignorant viewers to fucking FOXNEWS?
OpFeeding StTrollz
Pay attention to the timestamps.
Maybe FoxNews is incompetent.
Or, maybe thereâs a different reasonâŚ
Your charts didnât include the explanation of what each line represented, and didnât need to.
Orange = white votes and blue = black votersâŚwhat do I win?
itâs at the top of the graph, but yeah whomever put that together for the wapo was amateur hour
