Way to destroy Truth Social at least.
So based on the results of a poll of people who follow Elon Musk and respond to polls, only 51.8% of them voted for reinstatement, and now he can come back. Democracy.
Musk complained that there were a lot of bots in the poll, but didnāt say on what side or what he did about them.
Did he use real tools or did he just make a galaxy-brain deduction and stick his finger on the scales?
Just like the impeachment standard.
He bought the bots.
Silly boy! Vlad would have given him all he needed for free.
His feed is back up, his last tweet was telling everyone he would not attend the inauguration.
Someone replied if he comes back is he admitting his truth social is a failure?
I wonder if thatās what Muskās motives are. To get him to come back and abandon a potential competing platform.
Why even have bots? He owns the code behind the polls. He can make it say whatever he wants. I wonder how many of us if we voted no for the poll would have been marked as a āyes.ā
Because one is funnier.
But hasnāt Trump declined the offer, saying heāll stay on TS?
Holding out hope that theyāll soon find a way to destroy both.
Trump has the impulse control of a hamster. Heāll be back on Twitter in no time.
Musk had said he thought Twitter was wrong to ban Trump before he talked about buying it. Itās part of his free speech thing that far right voices should all be permitted. This vox populi crap is just a way of pretending he made the decision with other people in mind.
Heāll be posting classified docs in no time at all.
Unlessā¦have we considered that the reason Trump says he doesnāt want to come back could be that he doesnāt know what his password was?
one thing i donāt understand is why facebook isnāt all up in twitterās now former business.
to me, they donāt really seem like significantly different platforms. facebook could make a more focused experience, encourage more embedding of small posts, they could ( somewhat already do ) have tags and trending topics
nobody likes facebook, but it works. and with everyone looking to jump ship from twitter, youād think meta would be out there trying to suck them upā¦
"Never interrupt your enemy while
he is making a mistake"
Make changes to their service/spend money to attract people to the brand so damaged they had to change their name and distract people with virtual reality just a year ago? They would first need to be capable of foreseeing a billionaire ruining a company. They would also need the capacity to absorb users seamlessly during a silicon shortage, a pandemic, and their own layoffs.
