If this is true than what the FUCK.
Not paying severance that was promised? Those employees likely signed contracts with twitter at their terminations. Twitter is just going to not pay the promised amount and risk massive lawsuits? Just to cut costs? WTF!?
But he also stopped paying the lawyers who would normally be defending Twitter from such lawsuits so it all balances out. /s
but donât you understand!? everyone else is doing it wrong /s
While Teslaâs Supercharger cable has always been quite short and it is contributing to this problem, it feels like the EV industry needs a standardized charge port location⌠they should all be on the back of the left side like Tesla vehicles.
not like they didnât know about other evs when they made the charging stations, not like other charging stations arenât designed better, no: everyone else do it teslaâs way because telsa isnât capable of planning ahead
When you combine this with Platformerâs report that they blocked some of the largest cellular service providers in Asia to stop spammers, how long until Elon tries to stop paying for content delivery networks to stop the video of him being booed?
This is the Tesla that saw the standards-defined public charging networks, with the EU standardising on Type 2, and rolled their own proprietary network.
Itâs so bad now⌠I threw in the towel and deactivated on Monday. Twitter is well on the way to becoming the new Parler or Gab. Fuck Musk for making it unsafe and destroying the place I found my community.
Place your bets now on how long this tweet will stay up
A. 15 minutes
B. 1 hour
C. 2 hours
D. 4 hours
Guess this is a mod question, but will we be able to tell here if it is, or is this cached permanently?
I am still reading Twitter just to monitor stuff like this. I can occasionally click through on it and check. Still up right now. If you took 15 you lose. If you chose an hour check back in a bit!
ETA: Still up after an hour and coming up on two.
I was wondering if Twitter was doing anything to limit engagement, since the numbers on the post are awelful, but it looks like most Daily Beast posts donât get much
ETA 2 hours, still up
ETA: looks like itâs staying within the boundaries of the poll
Iâm surprised that Musk hasnât tried to sell say 30% of his Twitter stock to the rubes to help him dig out. It would have worked better earlier on, of course. But discounted, non voting stock - that allowed âownersâ to post whatever they want?
That would bring the rubes in. Though a high minimum investment would be required.
Even if you go back to posts during Parag Agrawalâs tenure, wouldnât likes from the accounts which closed no longer be counted? Certainly not retweets. But generally, news accounts which tweet the same link multiple times a day never seemed to have much on an individual tweet.
Itâs not a publicly traded company anymore, and if it was then heâd be subject to a whole lot of regulation by the SEC that could impose serious (and possibly criminal) consequences for some of his shenanigans. Which would be great, but also create a whole lot of work for our government bureaucrats who have plenty of work they need to do already dealing with FTX and other related bullshit. Maybe itâs best that he just loses the money without any outside interference and then has to deal with his loan sharks all on his own.
Today in âYou have got to be fucking kidding meâ, possibly just for early afternoon the way things have been going:

And âConsent decree? What consent decree?â:
Between this and not paying severance and so on, itâs pretty telling that all of Muskâs ideas to turn a profit consist of âletâs ignore this law tooâ.
