I’ve seen people, real people, progressives, point that they have a tenth or a hundredth of the network links on Mastodon but more actual engagement from their posts.
I suspect that this might be different if you were a Nazi though.
Because the engagement numbers are so very, very low as pointed out above, I’m not sure it could function as a social network if this was evenly distributed.

I suspect that inside the bubble, as pointed out in the post above outward links are severely punished by the overlords, it probably seems fine. You probably don’t notice the lack of an outside world. Who wants to breathe commie air anyway?
