i had many close friends in my twenties and thirties. now, i have only one really.
people move, get married, have kids - life, that sort of thing. and since i didnât do those things⌠thereâs not really the same sort of natural community to form new friendships. people have their life, and arenât looking to add new people into it
i still have people around i like, that im friendly with. but theyâre not friends of the same closeness that was possible when i was younger
i suspect that will change as i get older. as people who are in my age range have their kids leave the house, and as they start to look outward again. as people retire and no longer have work colleagues. but weâll seeâŚ
