Holy shit!! It wasnât anchored to the ground? WTF were they thinking?
You know what I want for 2022⌠something good for HaitiansâŚ
No kidding. They deserve at least a centuryâs work of good things.
Ya, me too. But itâs like Cuba, really (of course). Disobedience to empire, especially racialized disobedience, must be punished, forever and ever.
I donât see anything in the article that says it wasnât either.
Growing up in Kansas, I can definitely say that anchors and tethers arenât much help against some wind gusts when basically what you have is one big sail and no boat.
Case in point:
The strong winds whipped up dust that reduced visibility to zero west of Wakeeney, Kansas, the state Department of Transportation said, and caused at least four semitrailers to blow over. Kansas officials closed Interstate 70 from the Colorado border to Salina, as well as all state highways in nine counties in northwest Kansas.
God damn.
Who lets a tree grow that tall that close to their house???
The tree was there first?
Good point. Looks like the storm took some off the top for 'em, though.
im always curious, what were they filming before the completely unexpected thing that they filmed?
( sometimes to me that seems a clue something was staged, but not this unless they tied a lightning rod to the tree first )
It looked like a well-built cabin like you would find at a resort (before the tree fell), so Iâm guessing they were taking some âLook, I was hereâ shots for friends.
Me thinking about making cookies today⌠sees this postâŚ
Agree the tree was there first. But why build the house that close to the tree!?
For the view of the tree?
