Hey, don’t worry about it.
Now you’ve got me worrying that I was coming across as overly combatative in my comment.

Great, now even more of the fuckwits are getting involved.
And this is why hate groups need to be handled as terrorists. Even if they don’t follow-through, it puts a chill on everyone who might attend. Their 1A rights end where they impact the rights to life and liberty of others.
I’m going.
At this point, either the con can keep attendees safe, or they can’t. If they can’t, I trust them to cancel the con. If they can, these fucks aren’t ruining my vacation. That said, I imagine Chicago Antifa will now show up to defend their city.
FWIW: Bugsonas are perfectly welcome in furry fandom. I’ve had a few myself over the years. So are birdsonas, lizardsonas, and whatever animal you can think of.
They are, on average, just as queer and lefty as the rest of the furry fandom. You don’t have to have fur on your character to be a furry.
In all seriousness… has anyone ever showed up in a tardigrade costume? That would be cute.
Given the diversity and creativity in the fandom, I would not be surprised if someone hadn’t done that!
The irony here is that, of all furry cons, MFF is probably the best prepared to deal with this situation. After dealing with the gas attack, Furry Raiders, and the alt-furs, I trust them to keep people safe. Milo could have pulled this stunt on a dozen smaller cons and caused real chaos, maybe ruined the con. But not MFF.
I have seen some incredibly creative costumes of a huge variety of creatures, but this is the only tardigrade I’ve seen (so far). I think it was made as a mascot for a science conference but I’m pretty sure it’s made appearances at cons.
You weren’t combatative in the slightest. I was surprised, but I’m glad to have been corrected. (I was also glad to find the research that showed where my mis-memory came from and that I hadn’t invented it out of whole cloth).
I had just noticed that my original comment (which was wrong) had a lot of likes and wanted to re-up my agreement with you since my original post was a casualty of a thread clean up (I assume an accidental one? I don’t think anything in it was worthy of removal, maybe half of it was responding to another matter).
That’s a pretty awesome costume!
Searching Furaffinity for “tardigrade” brings up a little less than two hundred images or stories so I’m guessing probably not.
