That people like her exist in positions of power makes me profoundly sad…

I wonder what she thinks her responsibilities are.

I mean, I’d rather never hear anything about her ever again, but that’s the question that comes to mind.

I dare anyone to present a more demented soulless sub-human than MTG.

Bezos?
It’s a tricky challenge, hard to define the metrics and all, but in terms of actual results he’s got a helluva lead…

What is with the ‘skinny people’ bit in the question?

Still avoiding answering whether you got vaccinated and you got your kids vaccinated?

Everyone knows you did - and that you don’t give a crap if the rubes who voted for you die.

Just so long as you get some attention whoring in.

That was my first thought. Why specifically “skinny people?” Because fat people dying don’t matter?

I wondered at that, and I think what the reporter was getting at was risk factor; children are thought to be at a lower risk than older people, and heavier people at a higher risk. Even then, it’s ham-handed.

She had just said that Covid doesn’t have serious effects on young people and people who aren’t obese. Reporter was following up on that.

As a lifelong resident of GA, I formally apologize for this stupidity (and many other examples of such). We’re doing our best to shove these brainless zombies back into their caves.

I assume that 6,000 number isn’t any where near accurate. Though I am curious what the actual number is. I assume some of those are correlation not causation (which one could say about some Covid deaths, possibly.)

But still, even if that is the number, the death rate is far, far lower than Covid 19.

In related news, I think the GOP in general is waking up to the idea that COVID is killing their fan base.

They realized that it’s killing lots of white people.

I suspect it is too late for that. Most of his base are too far down that rabbit hole to pull out easily.

I hate the woman with a passion and think she should just go away but…

I think she was laughing at the question because of the skinny people part of it. I read the transcript and asked myself wtf.

She absolutely has responsibility to the people she represents.

She may be Right, but she ain’t right.

the “skinny people” part in the reporter’s question is a direct call out to empty gee’s tweet saying that covid only affects the obese and over 65yos. that twit is was prompted her 12 suspension from the platform on monday.
that was my take, anyway
