My daughter had to modify her cleats from youth soccer right into college. The toes were too pointy and the soles heated up to ridiculous temperatures while playing on artificial turf in summer heat. I ended up installinng automotive heat shields under the insoles so she could play in temps over 85 deg F.
Oddly, the more expensive the cleats, to worse this problem was.
âThe Terenure players felt if they had reacted to the many instances of physical provocation, the physical imbalance of the sides which greatly favoured Terenure would have resulted in serious injury being inflicted upon the CUBA clubâs players.

The article left out that the global womenâs soccer environment has completely changed since Lloyd played. There is so much more parity among international competition and the whole sport has rapidly elevated over the last decade that it hardly resembles the game she played.
And gets paid by Faux News to do it.
I trust the study group didnât pick up the nasty habit of whining and wailing over the slightest contact.
That ship already sailed. But Iâm not sure Iâd apply that sentiment to the US team, which has 40% minority players.
ETA: while England has <10% minority players and Netherlands have 12%, France has more minority players than the US at 61%.
These players are NOT colonizers.
Has it really been two months? The EFL season starts again in 10 minutes. Carlisle are at home playing Fleetwood tomorrow.
Nigeria should really be a lot better than they are, but their FA has bad corruption problems even by FIFAs standards. Throw in the usual misogyny as well.
Itâs a credit to the team that they are doing well despite the problems they have to face.
Edit:
Carlisle are at home, not at Fleetwood.
