If you think that Trump won’t use every power within his grasp to ensure his “reelection”, you don’t know Trump.
I’m not one that doubted his rhetoric at all.
Alexandra Erin has been writing some really excellent in-depth Trump analyses which are unfortunately in the awkward form of long Twitter threads. Still, worthwhile, IMO.
On Trump’s finances:
On Trump’s (dwindling) mental competence:
(tldr: she gives a thoughtful look at the idea that Trump is flat broke and in massive debt, and how that happened and what it means, and looks at Trump’s statements from the last few days as solid evidence of a decade-long deterioration of his mental state and his literal incompetence)
Knowing kids for whom this treatment has worked extremely well, I’ll focus on the myriad other reasons she’s a terrible candidate for the office. Teaching hyperactive kids to chill out with the help of EEGs and breathing techniques rather than medication is probably the least dangerous thing on her agenda.
Trump helping to stimulate the printing industry.
And then you have two problems.
Spoiler alert: Regardless of results, Trump will work to “strengthen up” voting procedures.
Well, clearly there were too many people voting in California making Trump look illigitimate, so a few million of them will need to be declared illegal, at least.
This sounds familiar.
Except this time, it might be sane to root for the corrupt right winger, given who the alternative will probably be.
Now the DoD are subtweeting Trump.
If ONLY “two” problems were all that we have.
I’m afraid that barring that oft mentioned meteorite hitting D.C. directly, we are facing a metric fuckton of them.
I think we need to start with this voter fraud first and foremost:
By no means am I defending the company she’s investing in or their specific business practices, or the prices they charge.
But calling biofeedback “dangerous” and “woo” is inaccurate.
Obama.
Again, I’m not making any comments about the specific company she’s supporting, as I’m not familiar with their work. I think it’s very irresponsible for them to claim a 12-point IQ increase “based on one study done in collaboration with an insurance company” – that’s incredibly dodgy. But I’m not at all surprised that a great number of children who used biofeedback were able to reduce or eliminate meds for ADHD. That’s what it’s best for.
[insert stream of obscenities and sputtering here]
Cry me a fucking river.
I mean the reason you run for pres. is so you can have a lovely time and enjoy it, very unfair of the press to not let him relax and feel free of all responsibilities on his luxury presidential vacation term.
