My wife really despises any descriptor that some chode felt had to have the word “woman” appended as a prefix: woman author, woman doctor, woman mechanic…and I couldn’t agree more.

I think woman suffrage was a pretty good idea. (I’d despise the name only because it denotes the fact that we didn’t use to have it.) Aside from that, I agree with your wife.

I actually agree with you here. It’s fun to poke fun at young hipsters playing at samurai or trying to be original while actually conforming (hey, we all did it at that age). But we could be doing it in a way that doesn’t reinforce toxic gender roles. “Man bun” sure is fun to say though.
