A real charmer that guy…

Annoying defendant is annoying. I’m curious, though, whether defendants who make their trial a circus like this ever manage to use that as grounds for an appeal. I mean, for a successful appeal. (I’m not a lawyer, obviously.)

It’s unfortunate that there are politicians in the USA that act like this guy.

Behold the “sovereign” citizen.

That lady in the back is remarkably calm for being so close to that two-way mirror he’s pounding on.

I can’t tell if this guy is having his rights trampled, or getting what he deserves? Maybe both?

Self-owning gentleman?

I feel bad for his court-appointed public defender.

He makes a persuasive case for leniency and his value and safety in the community.

Where is this guy’s counsel? Seriously, he should have a lawyer present.

He wasn’t sworn in. You can’t have a lawyer if you’re not sworn in. /s

It seems like he’s trying to do the “sovereign citizen” argument, even more inarticulately than most videos I’ve seen.

It’s the legal equivalent of flat-earth theory, so it wouldn’t do him much more good to be more articulate.

Well, that was comedy gold. Is he a Sovereign?

20 years should give him plenty of thinking time.

That cop (of whatever the correct nomenclature is in a courtroom) really comes out really quickly with the “stop resisting”. It’s like it’s a reflex.

Headline should read “Florida Gentleman angry in court”
