Gentleman jumps on car hood to fake an accident, driver doesn't give a damn

And those are some sad, pathetic human beings you lot are punching down at. But hey, empathy’s for chumps.

Alls I know is, he’s not trying hard enough. In YouTube videos I’ve seen, the better actors make sure they break the windshield or at least dent the hood.

Empathy is a great thing. Why don’t you display any for the people targeted by these would-be criminals?

Even if we take your assumption that these folks are trying to commit insurance fraud (or stealing packages from people’s porches) because they’re dirt poor, that’s just an explanation, not an excuse.

If I laugh, am I a capitalist or a fascist? If I don’t, am I a communist or a socialist? Help, I don’t know what to do. /s

On 10 January, a pedestrian in San Francisco’s Mission District ran across the street to confront a GM Cruise autonomous vehicle that was waiting for people to cross the road, according to an incident report filed by the car company. The pedestrian was “shouting”, the report states, and “struck the left side of the Cruise AV’s rear bumper and hatch with his entire body”.

Driver didn’t give a damn.

Since when does expressing empathy mean I am making an excuse for their criminal acts? Furthermore, I have plenty of empathy for the victims of petty fraud. I’ve got a damned site less of it for the fucking ghouls who get off on seeing the lowest and most desperate class of criminals get a “comeuppance”.

Since when does laughing at inept attempts at criminal activity mean you have no empathy? I’m sure you are as pure as the driven snow and never laugh at anyone in a bad situation but for most of us we can both laugh at a situation and have empathy for those in that situation.
