Well, I would assume something like this would be a joke or a party thing - like clowns for hire or dancers or something.

Sorry, this term has been a problem with me ever since my (ex) wife was attacked by a would be rapist back in the 80’s. I took took mighty umbrage when the investigating cop referred to the perp as the “gentleman”.
