George Floyd killing: Derek Chauvin charges elevated to 2nd degree murder, and 3 more Minneapolis officers charged

Then why did you write the opposite? You wrote that “racists don’t respond well to rioting looting and burning” (who cares how they feel?) and that it “entrenches them in their prejudice” (wait - were they digging out of that trench?).

Why are you holding them to the social contract that the police violated? Also, what violence? As far as I know the only violence has been by police or in cases of self-defense (such as against SLC Stupid Legolas). Property damage isn’t violence.

It sure is. If only I could plan it all out on paper and centrally force everyone to live the way I deem best.

I frankly don’t have the time or desire to continually explain myself to you every single topic. You and I don’t agree on much and I have bigger fish to fry. No pun intended.

All great plans to influence current events start at marinas chosen specifically because they are furthest from the people and events one wants to influence.

You’re unbiased by any experience of what’s occurring. What could be more fair?

He’s charged with Murder 2(Unintentional), which is different from Murder 2(Intentional).

Penalties are the same either way, but Murder2(U) doesn’t need to prove intent (which is always a tough row to hoe).

Murder2(I) might lead to an acquittal, hinging on the question of 'intent".

Murder2(U) should be a slam-dunk with any rational jury.

And it’s still Second-Degree Murder.

As it should be.

IMHO. IANAL, and free legal advice from the Internet is seldom worth what you pay for it. (-:
