Calhoun is “expected” to lose his license to practice law.
I’d hope so but wouldn’t bet on it. He’s on white Boomer male in America, after all.
Either way, this fascist thug is now a criminal lawyer.
If he’s bragging about taking headshots on police, Congress and/or the general public, it’s possible some nuances of the legal system have escaped him. Maybe he shouldn’t be allowed to practice law.
Then give them a refund. Although I couldn’t give less of a shit if these terrorist lose every dime. I’m sure it will all be going to this lawyer, anyway. Legal money-go-round.
Another fine example of MAGA: Making Attorneys Get Attorneys
Well he’s actually right about that part. The other 73% of the population that he thinks don’t exist voted for all those politicians who democratically created the legal system and appointed the judges that put him in prison for a violent uprising against the majority’s wishes. They do in fact have the power.
We shouldn’t judge on appearances - but I wouldn’t feel reassured if he rocked up as my defence.
That’s not nearly enough.
You’d think a lawyer would know better, but cultists are gonna cult…
So, he is either spewing bullshit, or is admitting to murder.
If it acts like a fascist and talks like a fascist…
I’m guessing he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to all charges.
That’s not a very compelling arguement, nor does it speak highly of the judgement of those clients; but bad judgement may well be why they need an attorney in the first place.
18 months?? The sentences for other insurrectionists of 4 to 7 years were already inadequate, this is a slap on the wrist. They’re practically encouraging him to try again.
My first question for him would be, “how important do you think the fringe on flags is, legally speaking?”
That naturally flows from MAGA: My A55 Got Arrested
