Georgia's Marjorie Taylor Greene defends NY's George Santos

Is she just using a cliche; or is she using ‘grace’ in the narrowly technical sense of something that is, specifically, a flavor of mercy bestowed on the morally unworthy purely at the discretion of the bestower?

I’m not saying that I disagree with the characterization of Santos being deeply unworthy of what she’s asking for, or the implicit framing of his democratic critics as his moral superiors who have no duty or obligation to give him something; but it seems like a peculiar choice for her; especially when someone of her proclivities is probably a bit more likely than average to have a strong opinion on grace as a concept.

His real name is George Soros. /s

The moment he exceeds Republican surface tension, they’ll flip 180.
