Made me laugh just now because somebody dropped that step back line in a meeting I was in yesterday.
Funny.
I first learned about her on some obscure website for mutant-something-or-others:
If I made a casual reference to 25 percent, and some chucklehead interrupted me with “so about one in four,” I’d gleefully fire right back with “no, exactly one in four. Why would you try and introduce unwarranted ambiguity to my nice clean statistic you absolutely useless mistake?”
Is this the best we can do?
Are we, or are we not, a company?
This woman is a national treasure.
Now if somebody jumped in after a reference to 14% with “so about one in seven” I might be impressed
It‘s funny, until people actually use this as a manual. Then your meetings will suck even more.
