…
this reminds me of an incident that happened on a beach near port arthur, texas in 1978 or 1979. a shrink-wrapped bundle with around 1000 pounds of marijuana washed up on shore. a guy down the hall from me in the dorms had some polaroids of it and he said that he sat on with a shotgun while his friend went to get help to divide it up and cart it off. not quite $20 million but an impressive haul.
That’s a boat.
(It even says so in the linked article.)
Haha, that KW is the Kenworth truck logo.
Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin’.
We gonna do what they say can’t be done.
We got a long way to go, and a short time to get there.
I’m east bound, just watch ole Bandit run.
And yes, it’s a boat. Ghost ship had me picturing something far bigger.
“Please send bill for $20 million worth of cocaine to Big Enos Burdette.”
Betcha someone had to go to remedial knot-tying school after the boat went missing.
Someone learned that knot tying can be a matter of life or death
I don’t even like cocaine and I think that’s just a damn shame.
A similar thing happened in the 2001 in the Azores. The negative effects are still beings felt today:
649 is a very unround number.
Where do you think the authorities stored that $18 million worth of cocaine?
