Market fluctuations during American Presidential elections are normal, but the ones we’re seeing this time are significantly worse than prior instabilities. With Clinton, they’ll recover within a few weeks. With Trump, foreign and transnational investors will start dumping us like the liability we are, and that will only be the beginning if Trump follows through on his isolationist rhetoric and locks into a trade war nosedive.
