Does the person filming think that a thin layer of mesh screen would protect them if the alligator turned their way?

I love that she realised some 10 seconds into filming that she had neglected to utter the obligatory “Oh My God” of shock and surprise but, despite the shock and surprise being over at this point, figured ‘better late than never’.
But as "Oh My God"s go, it was a bit ‘meh’.
