Well, that, and also sell, sell, sell that sweet merch! I can’t help but wonder what percentage of their revenue comes from licensing deals. If anything, the whole “Harley-Davidson isn’t a motorcycle, it’s a lifestyle” thing makes me even less likely to buy one, never mind that I’m pedal-powered if I’m on fewer than four wheels.
Never mind also that the Sturgis crowd’s political leanings these days line up more with those of the rednecks in Easy Rider.
